In order to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of new drug development, animal experimentation is essential. At our company, we conduct animal experiments based on the fundamental principles of animal experimentation widely adopted and established internationally, known as the “3R Principles: Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement.” These principles emphasize the use of alternative methods, minimizing the number of animals used, and reducing any potential suffering. We prioritize the dignity of animal life and adhere to the 3R principles in all animal experiments, which are supervised and managed by an animal experimentation committee, including external experts.

Furthermore, when we outsources animal experiments, we entrust the work to Contract Research Organizations (CROs) or other service providers that align with our company’s policies for pharmaceutical development.
